Welcome to ComPost! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ComPost Android application (the “App”) and the compostprompts.com website (the “Website”). By downloading, accessing, or using our App or Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

ComPost is a productivity tool that utilizes artificial intelligence to process voice recordings into structured text and allows users to export this data directly to specific Google Services (Google Sheets, Google Tasks, and Google Calendar).

2. Google Integrations and OAuth

To use the core features of the App, you must sign in with your Google account and grant the App specific permissions (OAuth scopes).

You retain full control over your Google account.
You may revoke ComPost’s access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account Security settings.
ComPost is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC.

3. Third-Party AI Services

ComPost relies on third-party APIs (such as OpenAI or Google Speech-to-Text) to transcribe and process your voice inputs.

While we strive for high accuracy, we do not guarantee that the AI transcriptions or generated structures will be 100% accurate, complete, or error-free.
You are responsible for reviewing the generated content before exporting it to your Google Services.
Please avoid recording highly sensitive, classified, or confidential information, as it must be processed by these third-party AI models.

4. User Conduct

By using ComPost, you agree not to:

Use the App or Website for any illegal, unauthorized, or malicious purposes.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the App.
Use the Service to transmit spam, viruses, or harmful code.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

All original content, design, branding, and code associated with the ComPost App and compostprompts.com are the intellectual property of the ComPost developer(s). You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the visual design elements or code without express written permission. The data and voice notes you process through the App remain your property.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and Website are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the uptime, reliability, or accuracy of the Service, nor do we guarantee uninterrupted access to third-party integrations (Google APIs, OpenAI), which may occasionally experience downtime.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComPost and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including but not limited to lost data, missed appointments, or loss of productivity) arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the App or Website.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
